Before you think about taking out a loan, you should be
proactive about monitoring your credit report at least
once a year. Your credit report is basically a summary of
financial information about your credit history and personal
information collected from various sources, such as public
records and your creditors.
Even if you’re confident that your credit is pristine, checking
your credit is a good fraud detection process to make sure
someone hasn’t taken out a loan in your name.
You can view your report FREE one time a year at www.annualcreditreport.com from
each of the three credit reporting
agencies. While the report is free, you have the option of
purchasing your credit score.
We also encourage you to stop by one of our branches, call 262-338-1888, or email us us to schedule a FREE, no-pressure credit analysis for ideas on how to improve your score, save money, or get back on track if you have tarnished credit.
